Description
12" Vega Subwoofer DVC 4O The Cerwin-Vega V12DV4 VEGA 12" Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer (4O) is engineered for serious bass enthusiasts who demand powerful low-frequency performance, durability, and the unmistakable Cerwin-Vega sound. Designed for high-performance car audio systems, this 12-inch subwoofer delivers deep, aggressive bass with exceptional clarity and minimal distortion, even at extreme listening levels. Whether you're upgrading your factory audio system or building a competition-ready setup, the V12DV4 provides the hard-hitting impact that defines the legendary Cerwin-Vega VEGA series subwoofers. Built with flexibility in mind, the dual 4-ohm voice coil configuration allows installers and system builders to easily optimize impedance for a wide variety of amplifier setups. Paired with Cerwin-Vega’s convenient single terminal impedance selector, the V12DV4 simplifies wiring while ensuring maximum power transfer and system efficiency. This versatility makes it an ideal choice for both everyday car audio upgrades and advanced custom installations. At the core of the V12DV4 is a rugged hybrid carbon fiber and polypropylene cone, engineered to provide superior strength and lightweight responsiveness. This advanced cone construction maintains excellent rigidity during high excursion, allowing the subwoofer to deliver powerful, distortion-free bass even under heavy loads. The stitch-reinforced Santoprene surround adds durability and flexibility, enabling extended cone movement for deeper and more impactful bass response. Driving the subwoofer is a high-strength ferrite motor structure, providing the magnetic force needed for tight, controlled low-frequency reproduction. This powerful motor ensures the V12DV4 can handle substantial power levels while maintaining accurate and dynamic bass performance. Whether you're designing a ground-shaking car audio system, enhancing your daily driving experience, or building a system for extreme bass output, the Cerwin-Vega V12DV4 12-inch subwoofer delivers unmatched reliability and performance. When the bass hits hard and fills the cabin with energy, everyone will recognize the signature sound and say: “That’s the VEGAS.” Key Features • 12" VEGA Series Car Audio Subwoofer • Dual 4-Ohm Voice Coil Design • Single Terminal Impedance Selector • Hybrid Carbon Fiber / Polypropylene Cone • Stitch-Reinforced Santoprene Surround • High-Strength Ferrite Motor Structure • Deep, Powerful Bass with Low Distortion Specifications SPEAKER SIZE - 12” SPEAKER TYPE - SUBWOOFER OHMS (PER COIL) - 4 NUMBER OF VOICE COILS - DUAL CONE MATERIAL - POLYPROPYLENE DIAPHRAGM MATERIAL - CARBON FIBER, DIAPHRAGM MATERIAL - POLYPROPYLENE BASKET MATERIAL - CAST ALUMINIUM MAGNET TYPE - FERRITE (CERAMIC) SURROUND MATERIAL - SANTOPRENE VOICE COIL DIAMETER - INCH (MM) - 3” THIELE/SMALL PARAMETERS SENSITIVITY (1W/1M): 87 RE (O) [SERIES]: 4+4 QMS: 8.84 QES: 0.64 QTS: 0.59 FS (HZ): 38 VAS (L): 24.86 CMS (MM/N): 0.067 MMS (G): 203.89 SD (M2): 510.71 BL (T*M): 12.09 XMAX (MM): 9 POWER HANDLING RMS: 1200 POWER HANDLING MAX: 3600 MOUNTING DEPTH: IN.(MM):6.57"" (167MM) CUT OUT DIAMETER IN.(MM):11.02"" (280MM) OVER ALL DIAMETER IN.(MM):12.66"" (321.5MM) OVER ALL HEIGHT IN.(MM):7.36"" (187MM)
