Delivery and Shipping

Products marked as "In Stock" are stored in our different distribution centers. These products will ship within 2-5 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

Items are then sent by courier, we use Courierpost & Posthaste which will take 1-3 days to arrive depending on your location and the size of the parcel.

While we will do our best to ship from the distribution center closest to you, not all items will always be in stock in every location at all times.  In some cases we will split the order and ship each package out to you individually and in other cases we may need to consolidate the items in one location to ship out as one package.  We utilize our best judgment in an attempt to get the products to you as quickly as possible.

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 48hours.

Returns

Our returns policy lasts 21 days. If 21 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Description

Brand New Lithium-Ion Battery Compatible MOSFET Voltage Regulator.

WORKS WITH LITHIUM BATTERIES ONLY

Stop Burning the Voltage Regulator Rectifier! It is time to update or replace the voltage regulator with the advanced MOSFET type.

It runs cooler than all SCR diode-style OEM regulators. In addition, this rectifier has overheat protection. Rather than burning up, it will simply turn off for a while and cool off.

  • Direct replacement to the original unit.
  • Plug-and-play, direct fit, easy installation.
  • Quality exceeds the OEM part.
  • Higher-grade electrical components.
  • All shipped products are tested.

Opposite connector (main harness side) included, as these are often melted, corroded or defective and are a major cause of repetitive electrical issues.

All item pictures are accurate. If in doubt, compare the item to the original part.

Why Do You Need a Different Voltage Regulator for Lithium Batteries?

Lithium batteries have different charging requirements than Lead Acid or AGM batteries that can severely affect their lifespan and performance. The key factors in safe and reliable lithium battery charging are the output DC voltage ripple and average output voltage. The RMSTATOR regulator is designed around the optimal parameters for these factors.

The Ripple Effect Is All That Matters

Charging voltage ripple in a powersports application is the difference between the highest and lowest voltages from the voltage regulator output. By nature, a common shunt-style voltage regulator will have a fairly high voltage ripple due to the regulation shunt switches opening and closing frequently. Each on/off transition will cause some variation in the output voltage. This is unavoidable. Keeping this to a minimum is critical for lithium batteries, and the RMSTATOR Lithium regulator is designed around this feature.

In a perfect world, a ripple of less than 10% of the output voltage (~1.5 V for a typical regulator) would be ideal, however, this is not practical for this type of regulator. The RMSTATOR Lithium regulator is able to maintain less than 4 V output ripple, compared to verified test results of the competitors' 8 V. Keep in mind this ripple voltage is only seen via an oscilloscope sampling the voltage thousands of times a second, and is not the same as the average charging voltage as measured by a multimeter.

Why Use MOSFET Enhanced Technology?

  • Runs cooler: Runs much cooler than the traditional shunt voltage regulator rectifier.
  • Saves fuel: Less load on the stator means less work, less fuel is used and you save.
  • Regulated energy: The power charging the battery is steadier and smoother.
  • Extended battery life: Extends the battery's life and cold cranking capacity.
  • More engine power: Removes stator load, resulting in more engine power.
  • Optimised power: Optimises power delivery by switching the stator coils on or off.

MOSFET Enhanced Technology

This product is an advanced design that lowers operating temperatures for extended longevity and better performance than the OEM part.

Before Installing the New Voltage Regulator Rectifier:

  • Check the AC output of the stator.
  • Replace any burned or corroded connectors on the stator and regulator rectifier.
  • Check and repair any melted wiring.
  • Use high-temperature dielectric grease on all connectors.

Warning:

Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing.
Ensure proper installation by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.
